More Patient Safety Protocols to Protect Our Hyde Park Friends and Families
Safety First — Now More Than Ever
When it’s time for you or someone in your family to visit Dr. Kim and the team at Ace Dental Boston, please know that we’ve gone above and beyond our standard health and safety procedures. We’ve added some extra steps to help combat the spread of COVID-19. Before you come to our Hyde Park dental office, we will conduct a pre-screening via phone. We’ll ask a series of questions related to your health and recent travel activity. When you arrive at the office, please text or call us. We’ll let you know when to enter the office to avoid contact with other patients. Upon arrival, we’ll conduct a contactless temperature screening. We’re also staggering appointment times to ensure proper social distancing.
Extra Sterilization and Disinfection
There’s now a fifteen-minute gap allowed after each patient appointment. This allows our team to ensure they have adequate time to disinfect the operatories. We’ve also added a medical-grade HEPA air filtration system in both the operatories and our reception area. Our team will also use powerful, hospital-grade disinfectant wipes and our autoclave on all instruments that are then sealed and only opened right before we begin your procedure.
Personal Protective Equipment and More
In addition to the personal protective equipment we’ve already been using at our Hyde Park dental office, we now have professionally-serviced gowns, face shields, N-95, and the equivalent level of protective mask. Our office is also equipped with a high-tech external suction unit specifically designed to safely remove all potentially harmful aerosols that can enter the air in the operatory.
