Get to know Dr. Shawn Kim, DDS
The Professional Side
Providing general and cosmetic dentistry in Hyde Park, Dr. Shawn Kim has earned the highest ratings in quality and patient satisfaction. Dr. Kim believes in a strong connection between a patient’s oral health and general health, so he is dedicated to developing a customized treatment plan that is specially designed for each patient. Dr. Kim graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. He then attended San Francisco VA Medical Center for advanced training. Because of his passion for cosmetic and implant dentistry, Dr. Kim has extensive experience with restoring the smiles of patients with complex problems. Every year, he devotes a significant amount of time to taking continuing education courses so he can ensure that patients receive the highest level dental care possible. Dr. Kim maintains fellowship status from The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Aside from caring for his patients, Dr. Shawn Kim’s interests include golfing, snowboarding, and most importantly spending time with his wife and children. He is also trilingual: he speaks English, Spanish, and Korean.
